Russian FM named conditions for settlement of Ukrainian conflict
A fair settlement of the Ukrainian conflict is possible only if Kiev ceases hostilities and terrorist attacks – as stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, TASS reports
According to Ms. Zakharova, another important factor is needed for the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict: the cessation of Western supplies of weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "We are convinced that a truly comprehensive, sustainable and just settlement is possible only if the Kiev regime stops fighting and terrorist attacks, and its Western sponsors stop pumping up the Armed Forces of Ukraine with weapons," she stressed.
In addition, the diplomat pointed out the need to confirm the original foundations of Ukraine's sovereignty, “Its neutral, non-aligned and nuclear-free status.”
