Russian Ambassador: Germany crossed red line by supplying lethal weapons to Ukraine
Germany is providing Ukraine with lethal weapons as military aid. They are used not only against the Russian military, but also against civilians, and this is a red line for Berlin – as stated by the Russian Ambassador to Germany, Sergei Nechyaev, TASS reports
In his talk with the Izvestia newspaper, the diplomat noted, “The very fact of supplying the Ukrainian regime with German-made lethal weapons, used not only against Russian servicemen, but also against the civilian population of Donbass, is a red line that the German authorities should not have crossed.”
Mr. Nechayev added that Berlin’s arms supply to Kiev is impeding the conflict and increasing the death toll. According to the diplomat, many people in Germany are aware of this.
