Russia’s State Duma Chairman: everything must be done so that teachers, pupils and parents communicate directly, not in chats
When discussing the formation and development of a common scientific and educational space in the Union State at a meeting of the 66th session of the Parliamentary Assembly in Minsk, the Chairman of the State Duma of Russia and of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, Vyacheslav Volodin, said that everything should be done so that teachers, pupils and parents communicate directly, not in chats
“We need to do everything possible to ensure that teachers communicate directly with parents and students. This should not be done in chats. Otherwise, we will all suffer from what we are promoting,” Mr. Volodin stated.
According to the Chairman of the State Duma of Russia, video formats in education are needed in a situation where there is no other way, i.e. during a pandemic. “Everything else does not need to be replaced, there is no need to look for loopholes. Artificial intelligence is called artificial, because it has no conscience. People have conscience, in turn,” he stressed.
