Russia's Permanent Representative to UN voiced condition for end of special military operation
Russia will continue its special operation in Ukraine if the West does not allow to get rid of the Kiev regime peacefully – as stated by the Permanent Representative of Russia to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzia, RIA Novosti reports
In his speech at a meeting of the UN Security Council, Mr. Nebenzia said, “We have always treated Ukrainians with respect, they are a fraternal people with whom we have inextricable historical ties. However, if the Western camp does not allow us to get rid of this ‘cancerous tumour’ – which the current Kiev regime is – peacefully, we will continue our special military operation until its tasks are solved militarily.”
The diplomat emphasised that Russia was ready to live in peace with Ukraine, until the latter was turned into a neo-Nazi Russophobic state with plans to join the NATO military bloc.
Mr. Nebenzia called on Kiev to adopt realistic parameters for a long-term settlement of the crisis ‘as soon as possible’ and not to slide into unrealistic ‘victory plans’.
