Russia handed over results of investigation into Ukraine’s use of chemical weapons to OPCW
Russia carefully records cases of Ukraine's use of chemical warfare agents and has recently handed over the results of its investigation to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) – as noted by Russian Ambassador to the Netherlands, Permanent Representative of Russia to the OPCW Vladimir Tarabrin, speaking at the 107th session of the OPCW Executive Council, TASS reports
According to him, the Russian side carefully records cases of Kiev's using chemical weapons and regularly informs the OPCW about this. In particular, on the eve of the current session, the results of the investigation were handed over to the OPCW Technical Secretariat for dissemination among the organisation’s participants. “We ask the Technical Secretariat and the participating states to take this information as seriously as possible,” Vladimir Tarabrin said.
“Information coming from the field about large-scale provocations with the use of toxic chemicals being prepared in Ukraine is also of serious concern,” Russia’s Permanent Representative added.
