Rogozhnik: Belarus, Russia to strengthen co-operation in implementation of high-tech projects
Belarus and Russia will strengthen co-operation in the implementation of high-tech projects – as noted by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik after his today’s meeting with President Aleksandr Lukashenko
The Ambassador recalled that earlier the Russian side had allocated 105bn Russian Roubles for the implementation of investment projects, “Today, all these resources have been practically mastered, and we will move on to the next stage: to work out with Russia the allocation of additional funds for the implementation of high-tech projects aimed at ensuring the Union State technological sovereignty. Such a range of projects has already been formed in the field of microelectronics, it is spelled out in detail who does what. This includes not only a component base, but also equipment for the manufacture of microelectronics. The projects also deal with aircraft construction, machine tool construction, robotics and automation of production.”
As far as the supply of traditional Belarusian goods to the Russian market are concerned, competition is certainly increasing. “As the President says, the most important here is to work three or four times more. People say: a river cuts through rock. Everything can be sold today. To do this, we just need to make every effort,” Aleksandr Rogozhnik underlined.
