President’s Reserve Fund to allocate Br140m to Healthcare Ministry

Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed an order to allocate Br140m (more than $56m) in additional funds for the Healthcare Ministry from the Reserve Fund of the President of Belarus – as informed by the Head of State’s press service

Money will be used to purchase COVID-19 vaccines and medicines – including drugs to treat cancer, tuberculosis, heart diseases and others.

The move will ensure provision of high-quality medical services, as well as elective care – in addition to uninterrupted supply of medicines, including vaccines, to healthcare facilities.
