President’s lead teacher recalled his school years: he stood out for his curiosity

The teachers are proud that they gave good knowledge to Belarus’ President Aleksandr Lukashenko, but also instilled in him a love for his Homeland and people – as noted by the President’s lead teacher, Tatiana Karpechenko, in her talk with the Belarus 1 TV channel

As the journalists found out, at one time, Tatiana Karpechenko not only taught Belarus’ President, but was also his colleague as a teacher. The conditions for teachers then and now are completely different, yet a true leader is immediately noticeable at any time.

“Aleksandr Lukashenko stood out in class for his curiosity. After all, we also communicate and discuss our pupils. And so the history teacher used to say that Lukashenko was his best pupil. He knew how to talk to the guys. Well done! I’m proud that part of his upbringing, especially dealing with patriotism, was still given by the school and teachers. We gave him good knowledge, but also instilled in him a love for his Homeland and people,” Tatiana Karpechenko noted.
