President of Belarus’ NOC arrived in Yakutsk for 8th Children of Asia Games
The President of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus (NOC), Viktor Lukashenko, has arrived in Yakutsk for the 8th Children of Asia International Sports Games, sb.by reports with reference to the NOC Telegram channel
At Yakutsk International Airport named after Platon Oyunsky, Viktor Lukashenko was welcomed by Vladimir Maksimov, the President of the Children of Asia International Committee, and Sergei Mestnikov, the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
The 8th Children of Asia International Sports Games will be held in the Sakha Republic from June 26th to July 6th. The Belarusian team consists of 144 young athletes under the age of 16 in twelve sports. Our national team includes champions and prize-winners of Belarus, as well as country’s record holders in their age categories.
