Poll: over 60% of independent voters in US ready to vote for Trump
Over 60 percent of independent voters would prefer to see Donald Trump, rather than Joe Biden, as the winner of the upcoming US presidential election – as evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by ActiVote, RIA Novosti reports
According to the results of the poll, choosing between Trump and Biden, 61 percent of independent voters are ready to cast their vote for the former head of the White House against 38 percent who would prefer Biden.
Even when respondents were offered the third option — self-nominated Robert Kennedy Jr. — the majority of respondents still preferred Trump. 47 percent of independent voters are ready to vote for him, 28 percent – for Kennedy Jr., and only a quarter of respondents are ready to vote for Biden.
The poll was conducted from June 5th-21st among 2,029 adult Americans, with the margin of error standing at 2.2 percentage points.
