Poll: over 50% of Zaporozhye and Kherson residents in favour of joining Russia

A survey conducted by the INSOMAR research company demonstrates that more than half of Kherson and Zaporozhye residents are in favour of the regions becoming part of Russia, RIA Novosti reports

About 74 percent of those questioned in the Zaporozhye Region plan to take part in a referendum. In the Kherson Region, this figure is lower: 61 percent. In addition, 71 percent of the Zaporozhye Region respondents admit they would like to see the region as part of Russia after the end of the special operation. The same point of view is shared by 63 percent of the pollees in the Kherson Region.

The poll addressed 1,000 people in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, and the margin of error for each survey made about 3.1 percent.
