Poll: 60% of Americans believe the United States is in decline
A survey conducted by Blueprint shows that at least half of voters aged 18-30 in the United States have a negative opinion of the country's political system, while more than 60 percent of them believe that America is ‘in decline’, RIA Novosti reports
It is noted that about 65 percent of respondents agreed with the statement that most American politicians are ‘corrupt and make money from politics’, while only 7 percent of those questioned disagreed with this opinion.
Also, 64 percent of respondents believe that the United States is in decline, and 51 percent of the poll participants agreed with the opinion that the US political system ‘does not work’ for ordinary people. In addition, 49 percent of respondents agreed that the elections in the country do not represent their interests.
In addition, 54 percent of voters believe that the United States is ‘going downhill’, and they see ‘a dying empire led by bad people’.
