Political expert: unipolar world can no longer continue to exist
Today we are experiencing a global transformation of the world order, which for some countries may be the final point – as noted by political scientist Vadim Borovik in his talk with ONT TV channel
According to the expert, there should no longer be a unipolar world led by the United States.
“It’s obvious that the unipolar world can no longer continue to exist, at least in the ugly form that it has acquired in recent years. Selective application of international law, ineffective activities of the UN and other international organisations, almost complete control of the global financial system by one state, the forceful foreign policy of the United States and the vassal status of many countries. A new world order is being formed before our eyes, and it is important for Belarus to firmly take its place in the new world,” noted Vadim Borovik.
The political scientist also continued, “We’re experiencing a global transformation of the world order, which, of course, is very painful. This transformation may be the final point for some states – as is evidenced by the growing number of military conflicts, including the war in Ukraine, which could lead to world war and nuclear disaster.”
According to the expert, no state is currently able to develop successfully alone.
“Countries are doomed to unite in alliances and to liaise in the closest possible way. The only question is the forms of co-operation, the effectiveness of such unions and what fundamental principles and approaches are adopted as a basis,” Vadim Borovik underlined.
