Political expert accused Ukraine of nuclear blackmail because of attacks on Zaporozhye NPP
Regular shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the territory of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant is nuclear blackmail – as stated by polylogue Sergei Kurginyan, the leader of the Essence of Time movement (Russia), during his talk with ONT TV channel
The speaker criticised the strikes of the Ukrainian military on the Zaporozhye NPP.
“Everyone sees who strikes, and the shelling will continue, because this is a means of nuclear blackmail. When it is impossible to win in the usual way, they start using unusual ones,” Sergei Kurginyan drew attention.
According to the political scientist, the Ukrainian regime will continue to use such methods, and here the advantage will be on its side.
“Because within the framework of this reality there is a pro-Western elite that is closely connected with the West and is not going to break this connection,” the analyst added.
The Head of the Regional Military-Civilian Administration, Yevgeny Balitsky, said that after the authorities of the Zaporozhye Region decided to stop the sixth unit of the Zaporozhye NPP, the Ukrainian military stopped shelling the station. He stressed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had ceased to strike not only at nuclear power plants, but also at the civilian infrastructure of Energodar.
