Polish Foreign Ministry urged EU partners to deprive Ukrainians of benefits

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski urged EU governments to stop providing social security benefits to Ukrainian citizens, including men of fighting age, TASS reports

According to Radoslaw Sikorski, in order for Ukrainians who left their homeland to return back to the country as ‘taxpayers and volunteers for the Armed Forces of Ukraine’, it is necessary that EU countries stop ‘paying social security benefits to them’.

The official added that he had already discussed this idea with German Finance Minister Christian Lindner.

Earlier, Sikorski advised Kiev to look at the example of countries which deprive of citizenship for evading military duty.
