The percentage ratio is given by the Polish research agency Minds & Roses.

“For many years, we have been systematically clarifying the opinions of [Poles] on whether Poland should join the European monetary union and replace the Zloty with a common Euro currency. The data for this year is much less positive than the data from previous years,” agency representative Marcin Idzik said.

It is noted that according to the results for 2024, 56 percent of the surveyed Poles strongly opposed the transition to the Euro, and another 12 percent admitted that they had no opinion on this issue.

In 2002, 90 percent of the polled Polish citizens supported abandoning their own currency and switching to the Euro.
