Poland's Defence Ministry: Ukraine is ungrateful recipient of aid
Poland’s Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz accused the Kiev regime of a lack of gratitude in response to receiving military assistance from Warsaw, TASS reports
In an interview with the Wirtualna Polska portal, the Polish politician said, “We were the first to send military aid [to Ukraine]. It has come to a situation where there is no memory of that help. There is no memory of that assistance in Ukraine.”
According to Polish President Andrzej Duda, Warsaw's total assistance to Kiev since the beginning of the military conflict in Ukraine has amounted to 3.3 percent of the republic's GDP, or 100 billion Zlotys ($26bn). It includes humanitarian aid and military supplies (which reached $5bn).
