Poland, Australia plan to conclude security agreement

Polish and Australian authorities plan to sign an agreement on security co-operation, TASS reports

The Polish Minister of National Defence, Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz, said after talks with his Australian counterpart, Richard Marles, in Warsaw, “We have taken it upon ourselves to sign (first prepare) an agreement on security and defence co-operation with Australia."

Kosinyak-Kamysz also noted that the countries intend to strengthen ties between enterprises of the military-industrial complex. At the same time, he added that Poland will need the experience of pilots from Australia in operating F-35 aircraft, which the country recently acquired from the United States.
