Peskov: Moscow will regard strikes on Donbass and liberated territories as an attack on Russia
The Russian Federation will consider Ukraine's attempts to return Donbass and other territories as an attack on its lands if positive decisions are made as a result of the referendums – as stated by the press secretary of the Russian leader, Dmitry Peskov, TASS reports
Answering the question whether, in case of a positive decision at the referendums, Ukraine's attempts to return these territories will be considered as attacks on Russia, the Kremlin representative said, “Definitely.”
Mr. Peskov stressed that, immediately after the decision on joining Russia, the Russian Constitution will begin to operate in relation to the Donetsk People’s Republic, Lugansk People’s Republic, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. "Everything is very clearly stated in this regard," he said.
