Peskov believes part of Africa’s ideas for settlement in Ukraine can be implemented

The African countries’ proposals for a settlement in Ukraine contain ideas that can be implemented – as noted by Press Secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov, TASS reports

“There are certain themes in those ideas that were outlined at the talks by the members of the delegations, which may well be implemented,” the Kremlin spokesman said.

On June 17th, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin held talks with representatives of seven African states, where they discussed possible ways to resolve the conflict with Kiev.

Dmitry Peskov noted that the dialogue with African countries would continue, including at the Russia-Africa summit to be held in St. Petersburg in a month.
