Palestine may send a request to join BRICS after the organisation's summit in Kazan – as informed by the Palestinian Ambassador to Moscow, Abdel Hafiz Nofal, RIA Novosti reports

Abdel Hafiz Nofal noted that, after the first participation in the summit, Palestine will send a request to join BRICS.

According to the diplomat, Russian President Vladimir Putin promised Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas that there would be a session entirely devoted to Palestine within the framework of the BRICS summit. Abdel Hafiz Nofal noted the positive expectations from the forthcoming event.
