Orban: Hungary will not interfere in Ukrainian conflict either on side of Kyiv or Moscow
Hungary does not intend to interfere in the Ukrainian conflict on anyone's side – as stated by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, TASS reports
Speaking with the Kossuth radio, the Hungarian leader emphasised that as long as there is a national government, Hungary will not intervene in the conflict in Ukraine on anyone's side.
Hungarian Secretary of State for International Communications and Relations Zoltan Kovacs wrote on his X account that Viktor Orban believes the first phase of the conflict, which included proposals on sending troops to Ukraine, is over. Now, the NATO countries will discuss sending a joint mission. The Hungarian Prime Minister also expressed hope for an early cessation of hostilities and the start of peace talks.
