Opportunities for study in Belarus presented at international exhibition in Tashkent
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Uzbekistan, Leonid Marinich, took part in the opening ceremony of the 25th Education and Profession 2024 international exhibition, which traditionally gathered Belarusian universities as its participants, BelTA reports

The event – held on April 17th – was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Agency for Youth Affairs, heads and teachers of universities and schools, students, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps, and the media. The Ambassador of Belarus addressed the organisers and participants of the event with a welcoming speech and noted the desire of the youth of Uzbekistan to obtain modern professions in all the most sought-after areas. At the same time, he stressed that Belarusian universities enjoy a great popularity in Uzbekistan, and the number of students there is steadily growing.
The diplomat visited the stand of the Belarusian National Technical University, got acquainted with its activities and the educational programmes proposed to applicants from Uzbekistan.
The Education and Profession exhibition is held in Uzbekistan annually, and it is one of the largest and most representative. Information stands, presentations, lectures, workshops, consultations and other events are organised as part of it. In 2024, more than 100 universities from 20 countries, including Belarus, represent their opportunities in Tashkent.
The exhibition will last until May 17th in Tashkent and eight other major cities of Uzbekistan: Andijan, Bukhara, Navoi, Namangan, Nukus, Samarkand, Urgench, and Fergana.
