Opinion: people in Middle East dying because of American and British corporate elites’ mercantile interests
The United States deliberately provokes conflicts in different parts of the planet in order to later make money on it – as stated by Aleksei Avdonin, an analyst with the Belarusian Institute of Strategic Research (BISR), in his talk with Alfa Radio
The BISR analyst believes that sparking a conflict in the Middle East is very profitable for the United States.
“The United States and Great Britain will continue to be at a distance, as during WWI and WWII, separated by the English Channel and the Atlantic Ocean. In principle, those who are fighting cannot reach the USA and the UK. Inciting a global military crisis and global war is beneficial to [the United States]. Moreover, they understand that everyone is against the US and its financial debt model: Russia, China, and other countries united within the BRICS, SCO... Any integration of other states is a fatal blow to the US Dollar model of the United States,” noted Aleksei Avdonin.
That is why, the expert is convinced that the United States is ready to take extreme measures ‘up to the use of tactical nuclear weapons in these regions to demonstrate its superiority’.
“To understand why the United States needs global conflicts, I will give a figure: 55 percent of the US GDP – if we take all the companies involved in the production of weapons and military technology – is formed by the US military-industrial complex. If there is peace throughout the world, these defence corporations will not work and GDP will decline sharply while war makes it possible to supply weapons. Meanwhile, it’s necessary to pay attention to the main manoeuvre that happened today. Why are the US abandoning Ukraine? Because at first Ukraine paid for weapons and military equipment itself, then these were purchased by Europeans, and then by various corporations and foundations. Anyway, no results were achieved. It’s clear that at some stage there was simply no real money, so Ukraine was abandoned as an insolvent client, and the debts were racked up,” underlined Aleksei Avdonin.
The speaker continued that now only rich countries in the Middle East can pay for American weapons.
“The more solvent citizens of the Middle East are involved the more American corporations will earn. When we discuss the conflict in the Middle East, we are sympathetic to the sacrifices both in Israel and in the Arab world. But most importantly, these victims are created by the mercantile interests of the corporate elites of the United States of America and Great Britain. If we want peace in this region, we must get rid of the interests of the Americans and, in principle, the Anglo-Saxons,” concluded Aleksei Avdonin.
