Opinion: land logistics of alternative alliances confronts Western economic policy
The fate of Western dominance depends on logistics and finances. At present, most cargoes are transported by sea, and the Anglo-Saxons have built their dominance in the economy and military sphere on this. Doctor of Economics Valery Bainev shared his views on the topic.
“The Western world strives to continue to control sea cargo flows, as it has done over the past five centuries. Meanwhile, laying of continental routes from China, India, Iran to our part of Eurasia undermines the Anglo–Saxons’ dominance in every possible way. Land logistics of alternative alliances is a powerful counterweight to the economic policy of the West, but it is important to understand one point: while the Dollar is still strong enough on a global scale, the United States will be able to dictate its will. In turn, when it is completely excluded from interstate settlements by national currencies, the American financial system will lose its dominance over other countries and suffer a complete collapse. By the way, the share of national currencies in mutual settlements in the EAEU has reached 74 percent by now. The fate of the global economy depends on logistics and finances today, so Eurasian associations are actively involved in formation of an alternative pole of the world. These are the countries which have chosen an independent path of development that does not contradict the national interests of their peoples," Mr. Bainev stated.
