Opinion: Americans only intensifying escalation of Ukraine conflict with military equipment supplies

The escalation of the conflict in Ukraine is growing, with the West transferring weapons, military equipment, long-range missiles to this country and pointing at Russian targets that can be hit, military analyst Igor Chibisov told the sb.by portal

“Russia was forced to launch a special military operation in Ukraine in order to protect the population of Donbass and for the security along its external contour. Even before the start of the conflict, the US and NATO provided military assistance to Ukraine and the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU), especially strengthening it in 2014. They began to prepare Ukraine for war against Russia. The AFU trained in the United States and NATO member states according to their military programme. Now more than 50 states are fighting against Russia in Ukraine, there is a hybrid, but absolutely fully-fledged and bloody war, which the United States and NATO are waging through the hands of the Kiev regime. This war benefits only one country – the US – which is killing two birds with one stone: trying to weaken Russia (though failing in this) and definitely driving Europe into a coffin. The Americans are only intensifying the escalation of the Ukrainian conflict by supplying military equipment and weapons, as well as by providing financial support to Kiev. Under the current conditions, this requires Russia to make new decisions,” explained the expert.
