Opinion: all territory of Zaporozhye Region will become part of Russia in 2023

The part of the Zaporozhye Region occupied by the Ukrainian military will be liberated by the Russian Armed Forces in 2023 – as stated by the Chairman of the We Are Together with Russia movement, Vladimir Rogov, RIA Novosti reports

According to Mr. Rogov, the liberation of the Zaporozhye Region, which he called inevitable, is eagerly awaited by all its residents. “There are great not unfounded hopes that, in 2023, the entire territory of the Zaporozhye Region will not only be de jure, but also de facto part of the Russian Federation,” he stressed.

At the moment, more than 70 percent of the region is under the control of the Russian military, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces still oversee the regional centre: the city of Zaporozhye.
