Number of visitors to Belovezhskaya Pushcha up 34% over the year
The interest of tourists in the Belovezhskaya Pushcha National Park is growing, the environmental facility reports

“According to statistical data for H1 2024, the number of visitors to the national park increased by 34 percent compared to the same period last year. Aviaries are especially attractive among tourists, the flow of visitors increased 1.5-fold there,” the source reported.
As previously informed, the Belovezhskaya Pushcha National Park was visited by about 521 thousand people in 2023. The tourist flow increased by 6 percent compared to 2022. In particular, 30%+ more foreigners came last year. Apart from cultural and mass tourism, ecological tourism was actively developing, excursions to wildlife and safari tours were organised.
The Belovezhskaya Pushcha National Park is located on the territory of three districts (Kamenets, Pruzhany, Svisloch) and two regions (Grodno and Brest), occupying more than 150 thousand hectares. These lands are owned by the state and are intended for nature protection. The park stretches 65km from north to south, and 20-52km from west to east. Its territory is currently divided into 16 forestries. The Shereshevo and Vygonovskoye forest hunting farms are also part of it.
