Number of coronavirus cases growing in the Netherlands
In recent weeks, the Netherlands has seen an increase in the incidence of respiratory infections, including coronavirus, TASS reports
The National Institute of Public Health and the Environment has reported on its X account, “In recent weeks, we have seen an increase in the number of people with respiratory infections, and they are mainly associated with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. This can be concluded on the basis of an increased number of coronavirus particles in wastewater."
Experts explained that the average number of pathogen particles in wastewater increased to 941 per 100 thousand people.
It is also noted that a new stage of vaccination against coronavirus will begin in the Netherlands on September 16th.
