NOC President congratulated Belarusian kayaking and canoeing team on successful performance at World Cup

The President of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus, Viktor Lukashenko, has congratulated the national kayaking and canoeing team members on their successful performance at the World Championships in Samarkand, sb.by reports with reference to the National Olympic Committee’s press service

In his congratulation, Viktor Lukashenko noted that the four gold, four silver and three bronze awards captured in the fight against the world's sports elite became a brilliant result of the selfless work, discipline, perseverance and skill of Belarusian athletes, “Despite the harsh international pressure and difficult unequal conditions, you managed to worthily represent Belarus and prove that our athletes have become stronger, and together we are able to cope with any external circumstances. Let these medals be an inspiration and a shining example for the younger generation of our athletes.”

The NOC President also highlighted the traditionally strong and high-quality training of the Belarusian rowing school, which deservedly boasts the status of one of the best in the world, and thanked the coaching staff and all the specialists who made efforts to achieve medal results.

Viktor Lukashenko wished the athletes good health and success, to move forward and never stop at the existing achievements.
