NATO kicked off its annual Steadfast Noon nuclear exercise

NATO’s annual nuclear exercise Steadfast Noon has kicked off today, TASS reports

“NATO begins its annual nuclear exercise Steadfast Noon on Monday (October 14th, 2024) with more than 60 aircraft taking part in training flights over Western Europe. These drills are planned and regular, involving about 2,000 military personnel,” NATO’s press service noted.

Earlier it was reported that the exercise will last two weeks and involve fighter jets capable of carrying US nuclear warheads, but does not involve any live weapons.
