Elon Musk warned about the dangers of attempts to introduce artificial intelligence (AI) principles of political correctness, TASS reports
The American billionaire posted on his X account, “AI would be very dangerous if powerful, but trained to lie in order to be politically correct.”
Elon Musk is afraid that, instead of generating images that forcibly conform to the principles of racial and other diversity, AI in the future could potentially decide ‘to make that true in reality, potentially killing millions of people to achieve diversity goals’.
It is noted that, in November 2023, the businessman also expressed his concerns about the rapid progress and development of artificial intelligence. He warned of the potential threat that this technology could pose to the existence of mankind. Elon Musk used an analogy comparing AI to ‘a double-edged sword’ that can be used for both harm and good.
