MTZ to produce sample of digitally designed tractor

In 2025, the Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ) plans to produce a tracked tractor designed in a digital environment, according to the MTZ Tractor.bel corporate edition

According to Aleksandr Timoshkov, the Acting First Deputy Head of the Department of Engineering and Experimental Works No. 2, the creation of the BELARUS 1103 tracked tractor of traction class 2 in the digital design system is one of the most ambitious projects currently being implemented in the department.

“The innovation assumes that an annotated 3D model, rather than a drawing, will be the original design documentation,” he said.

It is noted that to date, the readiness of the design documentation for this vehicle is about 60 percent. Tractor production also involves the use of paperless technology.

The production of the BELARUS 1103 prototype and its tests are scheduled for 2025.
