MTZ increased exports to Russia by over 40% in January-May 2023
Export of the Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ) to Russia in January-May increased by more than 40 percent compared to the same period last year – as reported by the MTZ press service
MTZ Deputy Marketing Director Mikhail Vardugin said, “Russia has been and remains a key partner for MTZ. BELARUS 82.3 and BELARUS 1222.3 tractors are still in the top of sales. There is also a growing demand for vehicles with a capacity of 150-20HP – this class of machinery was previously supplied to the Russian market by Western companies. Energy-saturated BELARUS 3522 are also in demand.”
Moreover, BELARUS tractors designed for public utilities are widely known in Russia. In 2022, MTZ implemented a major project, supplying more than 850 units of such equipment to St. Petersburg. This year the demand is also high.
