MTZ exports to non-CIS countries grew 1.5-fold this year

In January-August 2024, the Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ) increased its exports to the non-CIS countries by 1.5 times compared to the same period last year, sb.by reports with reference to the Tractor.bel corporate publication

According to Vitaly Prishchep, who heads the Marketing Research and Statistics Department at the MTZ Marketing Centre, in conditions when the EU and the US are expanding sanctions and continue to close their markets for Belarusian and Russian goods, MTZ is reorienting supplies to the markets of the CIS member states and the far arc countries.

“In January-August 2024, the Minsk Tractor Works significantly increased its export supplies to the non-CIS countries,” he added. “Over eight months of this year, the export growth rate stood at 151 percent compared to the same period a year earlier.”

At the same time, Mr. Prishchep stressed that MTZ is open for co-operation with all countries that are interested in this. According to him, the company is actively promoting BELARUS tractors in Russia – a traditional direction for us. Over the first eight months of this year, MTZ delivered more than 11,000 tractors to Russia.
