MP: we won’t let anyone forget that Soviet people defeated fascism in Great Patriotic War
Fascism is rearing its head again these days, so it is more important than ever to explain to the current generations what the consequences may be. It’s necessary to constantly remind that it was the Soviet people who liberated the world from the brown plague during the Great Patriotic War – as noted by Oleg Gaidukevich, a deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, in his talk with the SB TV Youtube channel.

According to the expert, everything repeats, and fascism is still alive.
“We see it on the streets of Latvian cities, where they march in fascist uniforms without hesitation. They want to make us forget history. Official delegations of Russia and Belarus are not invited to commemorative events dedicated to the liberation of concentration camps, though it was the Soviet Army that liberated them! These bastards do not invite us and thus betray the memory of their grandfathers, who greeted Soviet soldiers with flowers. The Soviet Army freed millions of people from the brown plague, the whole of Europe, but they don’t invite us to commemorative events,” the deputy asserted.
Oleg Gaidukevich accentuated that this is not a decision of the people of Poland or Germany, but of the authorities of these countries, “It was Biden who gave the command, and they obey, like puppets. I’m not even talking about the fact that some Baltic politicians had grandfathers and great-grandfathers serving in the SS; and they are proud of it!”
The parliamentarian suggests thinking about why the current crimes against humanity are not being investigated, “The policy has changed. Once again we see support for radical nationalism in Ukraine and not only there, financing of terrorism and extremism. Where is the investigation into the US prison in Iraq, where so many people were tortured? Polish border guards kill migrants on the border with Belarus for being of a different nationality, of a different religion. This is fascism; we must call things by their proper names!”
According to the deputy it is not for a ‘tolerant’ Europe to teach us democracy and freedom.
“It’s sickening to listen when some come out and start talking about Western democracy and freedom, which don’t exist. Therefore, we will remember our history, and our Prosecutor General’s Office will continue to investigate crimes as part of the genocide of the Belarusian people. We will not let our kids, schoolchildren, or teenagers forget this. We will talk about it and shout at all international venues. There will be no compromises in these issues! This is the Great Patriotic War, this is the feat of the Soviet people, it was we who liberated Europe and the world from fascism. We will never forget it!” the expert underlined.
