MP: Baltic States, Poland act as ground for military forces to train
Poland and the Baltic States are being prepared to act as a training ground for the United States to be able to unleash another bloody conflict in Europe against Russia and its allies – as stated by Ruslan Kosygin, a deputy of the House of Representatives, in his talk during the Minsk-Moscow Union State videoconferencing

As noted by the MP, everything related to the political and military spheres is a bubbling cauldron that can explode at any minute, and the developing situation in the world is similar to the one observed on the eve of the outbreak of World War II in 1939. Mr. Kosygin stressed that, earlier, the possibility of a military conflict was discussed, but its inevitability is now voiced.
“Everything connected with a political or military component is a boiling cauldron that can explode at any minute. At present, the countries that neighbour us – Poland, the Baltic States – actually act as a training ground where issues of military force training are being worked out. Everything that is being done within the framework of the militarisation of Poland and the Baltic States, everything related to the preparation of military infrastructure, reception and deployment of troops testify to one truth: preparation for war, for a large-scale conflict. However, there are no grounds for it,” the expert noted.
Mr. Kosygin recalled that Belarus has repeatedly said that it is not going to fight against anyone, “Belarusians do not view any nation as an enemy. However, there are political parties and leaders who are unfriendly to us. Countries continue to pump up this military hysteria, speaking of the so-called threat from the East, including from Belarus. Moreover, they are actively preparing [for confrontation], and the Steadfast Defender exercises that are currently being conducted [by NATO countries] are the brightest example of this. As part of the latter, [NATO] training grounds are involved almost along the entire state border, issues of military troop deployment, training of military forces and working out [tasks] of groups are in full swing. Meanwhile, madness is reigning in Poland: its officials are openly calling for war, stating that hostilities will be inevitable in literally five or ten years.”
