MP: aggravation of situation between Poland and Ukraine will lead to absorption of part of the Ukrainian territory
In his talk with Alfa Radio, a deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly, Sergei Klishevich, explained why Poland admitted that the rocket that fell on its territory in 2022 had been fired by Ukraine
According to the MP, in this case it is necessary to evaluate not the actions of the Polish authorities of that period and their modern statements about the Ukrainian missile, but what is happening between Ukraine and Poland at the moment in general.
“As many experts state, Poland is simply beginning to abandon the policy of artificial support for Ukraine, which it has been implementing for a long time. It is also necessary to think of an open confrontation, including in the military-political sphere, which will ultimately lead to the absorption of at least the western regions of Ukraine,” Mr. Klishevich explained.
The expert added that the conflict between the countries has entered the media level, and the West needs this. “Polish politicians see that there is no need to expect any effect from the counteroffensive, so it seems necessary to start quickly seizing Ukrainian territories and play the master there. Therefore, statements have already been made on Ukrainian grain, food and other aspects in order to escalate this conflict and, against the background of alleged resentment because Ukrainians sell agricultural products duty-free to Poland, to break off and limit these supposedly strategic relationships. In Poland’s opinion, Ukraine will crawl into its arms sooner or later, and the Polish side is always ready for this, but we remember how it has been artfully disguised for a long time. These ‘fraternal embraces’ of the presidents of Poland and Ukraine are nothing but a game, just like the whole Polish-Ukrainian politics, when artistes – whose task is to play their role, and they do this perfectly – are in power. Real politics is something different, and ordinary people see little of what is actually happening in politics between these states. Unfortunately, the Polish and Ukrainian peoples have lost the reins of their countries: Western and American intelligence services rule there, appointing whoever they want to the leading posts. The situation between Ukraine and Poland is escalating now, and it will eventually lead to the absorption of a certain part of the territory of Ukraine – if not administrative, but political and economic for sure,” Mr. Klishevich noted.
