Modi became India’s PM for third time

Narendra Modi took the oath of office and became Prime Minister of India for the third time, TASS reports

Mr. Modi was sworn in by President Draupadi Murmu. The politician took the post of Head of Government for the third time in a row, and this has become the second such case in India’s history.

About eight thousand guests gathered at the event, and among them were politicians, ambassadors, diplomats, and members of the public. The ceremony was attended by the leaders of India’s seven neighbouring countries.

The parliamentary election process in India ended on June 4^th, and it was held in seven stages.
