Minister of State for Bulawayo Province of Zimbabwe arrived in Belarus to discuss joint co-operation projects
Judith Mkwanda, the Minister of State for Bulawayo Metropolitan Province and Decentralisation of the Republic of Zimbabwe, has arrived to Belarus with an aim of further expansion of co-operation and development of new areas of interaction, sb.by reports with reference to the Industry Ministry
The Minister of State and members of the delegation have already visited MAZ and MTZ companies and held talks with their top managers. The parties discussed a wide range of topics of mutual interest, such as the organisation of supplies of machinery and equipment for garbage collection and recycling, agricultural and passenger vehicles.
On August 29th, the foreign guests will visit Babushkina Krynka dairy company and Borisov Plant of Medicinal Preparations.
This year, Belarus’ Industry Ministry and Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Industry and Trade signed a memorandum of co-operation, which aims to raise bilateral relations to a higher level, strengthen friendly relations and mutually beneficial ties between the countries.
Bulawayo is Zimbabwe's second largest city after Harare, it is a manufacturing and industrial centre that hosts Zimbabwe International Trade Fair.
