Matelsky appointed Director of National Centre for Legislation and Legal Information
Andrei Matelsky has been appointed Director of the National Centre for Legislation and Legal Information in line with decree No. 269, signed by President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko on June 28th, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
The same document dismisses Andrei Matelsky from the post of Director of the National Centre for Legal Information.
Earlier, the President signed Decree No. 96 on the reorganisation of the National Centre for Legislation and Legal Research and the National Centre for Legal Information by merging and forming on their basis a single centre subordinate to the Head of State. This decision made it possible to combine the human, scientific and technological potential of previously operating structures and eliminate duplicate functions while increasing the efficiency of activities in the relevant areas of legal work.
