MEP called Ukrainian refugees cowards
Estonian MEP Jaak Madison said that Europe should help Ukraine send Ukrainian refugees to the front, RIA Novosti reports
Jaak Madison said that ‘Zelenskyy stated very clearly: they need people because thousands have died’. The MEP recalled that there are about 800 thousand people in Europe ‘who violated the law of Ukraine and fled the country like cowards’. Therefore, according to him, European countries should help Kiev send them to the front.
In addition, Jaak Madison believes that the European Union should help Kiev with weapons.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he had questions for Ukrainians of military age who had gone abroad outside the law.
In late 2023, Estonian Interior Minister Lauri Laanemets allowed the extradition of conscripted refugees to Ukraine. In turn, Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas noted that Tallinn will not expel Ukrainian men of military age.
