Media: US Subway restaurant chain plans to sell business for $10bn

One of the world’s largest chains in terms of the number of catering outlets, Subway, can sell its business for $10bn, The Wall Street Journal reports with reference to its source

It is noted that the sale process is currently at its initial stage, and Subway hopes it will be able to attract private investment companies or potential corporate buyers.

"As a private company, we do not comment on the ownership structure and business plans," a representative of the network said.

Subway is an American chain of fast-food restaurants operating on the principle of franchising. It is one of the largest chains, with 40,000+ outlets in 112 countries around the world.
