Media: Ukraine will not be able to pay salaries to its civil servants without US monetary support

Kiev may be left without money that should go to pay salaries to civil servants, and this will happen if the Capitol decides not to send financial aid to Ukraine, TASS reports

The Wall Street Journal referred to Ukrainian and American officials in reporting that problems with the approval of the US new budget may affect aid for Kiev. “The Ukrainian Finance Ministry has the necessary funds for October, but it may later face the need to cut payments to civil servants or try to take out a loan," the publication reads.

As reported, this problem can also cause a wave of indignation in Ukraine, and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will be severely criticised by the local opposition.
