Reuters news agency reported that the countries had signed a letter of intent. It is known that the missiles will have a range of more than 500km.

The German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung clarifies that it refers to the missiles with a range of over 1,000km – able to ‘reach Russian targets from German territory’. Italian media add that the document was signed in order to ‘strengthen ground defence’.
