Media: cyber network selling personal data to terrorists revealed in Turkiye
Turkish law enforcement officers have uncovered a cyber network selling personal data to terrorist organisations around the globe, and 11 people have been arrested, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the A Haber TV channel
It is noted that, as a result of a joint operation by the National Intelligence Organisation, the Gendarmerie General Command and the Cyber Incident Response Centre, a cyber espionage network was uncovered that captured personal data and sold it to terrorist organisations around the world. It is reported that eleven people were arrested, and many websites were blocked.
It is alleged that the cyber espionage network transmits personal data received from many countries to anyone who requests it.
