Media: allies allowed Kiev to use supplied weapons for strikes on Crimea

NATO no longer objects to Kiev firing at Crimea with the weapons supplied to it, though, previously, the United States and the West considered Crimea a red line, RIA Novosti reports

As reported by Spanish Pais, Ukraine has opened a new front of the war in Crimea. “NATO allies have given the green light to use the weapons they supplied," the publication reads, noting that the Kiev regime uses Anglo-French Storm Shadow missiles that have recently been added to its arsenal.

Pais called the West’s approval a significant change in the scenario. "A few months ago, Washington, Berlin or Paris considered Crimea a red line that could lead to an even greater escalation of the conflict," the newspaper emphasised.
