MAZ considering possibility of supplying equipment to Mauritania

Minsk Automobile Plant is working on the possibility of supplying its equipment to Mauritania, MAZ press service reports

“The company has hosted a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus concurrently, Deman Mohamed Hamar. In his talk with representatives of the plant, the diplomat noted that he came to the Belarusian plant at the request of the leadership of Mauritanian companies that are interested in acquiring MAZ-made equipment,” the source said.

Deman Mohamed Hamar admitted he was very glad to come to Minsk, “After I saw the city and visited your factory, I have an understanding of why many people envy Belarus: hardworking people live here. Mauritania is very interested in liaising with MAZ. Despite the fact that your equipment is not presented on our market, people know about your factory and the quality of its products.”

The parties exchanged contacts for more extended co-operation. It will be possible to talk about the specific results that may follow after expressing a desire for mutually beneficial economic co-operation after working out options for such work.
