Malkina: plan being implemented to increase level of provision of EAEU states with important medicines
The Eurasian Economic Union is working to increase the level of provision with essential medicines and pharmaceutical substances – as stated by Iya Malkina, official representative of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), during a briefing, BelTA reports
Speaking about how the problem of ensuring drug safety is being solved in the EAEU, Iya Malkina noted, “In order to provide citizens of the EAEU member states with the necessary medicines and medical devices, registration procedures are being simplified. A plan is being implemented to increase the level of provision of the EAEU countries with strategically important drugs and pharmaceutical substances.”
According to the EEC official representative, this will help create a full cycle of production of the most important medicines, including vaccines, in the EAEU countries.
