Malaysia introducing visa-free regime for Chinese and Indian citizens from December 1st

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said that entry visas for Chinese and Indian citizens will be cancelled in the country from December 1st, TASS reports with reference to Bloomberg

According to the Malaysian Prime Minister, Chinese and Indian citizens can stay in the country without a visa for up to 30 days. As reported, this will contribute to an additional influx of foreign tourists to Malaysia.

Earlier, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that the country's authorities will introduce a visa-free regime from December 1st for citizens of Malaysia, as well as five EU countries: Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, France, and Germany. Representatives of these states will need their national passports and no visas to go to China on business and as tourists, visit relatives and friends for 15 days.
